SYNOPSIS

Simone Beaulieu, now Mother Augustine, successfully runs a small convent on the banks of the Richelieu. Passionate, resilient, Mother Augustine puts all her energy and talent as a musician at the service of her students. When her niece Alice was entrusted to her, it was not only a new pianist prodigy, but also a young woman whose aspirations were in tune with the times and who reminded Mother Augustine of a past she had believed Set aside definitively. The school, despite its small size, is a musical jewel that rattles all the great piano prices. The walls breathe the music. Morning, midday and evening, from the large corridor to the main staircase, resounds a stream of scales, arpeggios, Chopin waltzes and Bach’s inventions. And if we do not pray, we sing!
